We collect the information you choose to give us when you join the newsletter or the research pool, such as your email address and any other fields shown on the sign-up form.

When you sign up, our email provider may also record subscription-related information such as your IP address, approximate location, the date and time of sign-up, and the form you used.

When you visit the website, our hosting provider may process technical connection information, such as your IP address and browser details, to deliver the pages.

Watch Discovery has no member accounts or custom database of its own at this stage.

If you join the newsletter, we use your email address to send our editorial email, approximately every two weeks. Sign-up uses double opt-in: you are only subscribed after confirming through the email we send you.

You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.

The research pool is separate from the newsletter. Joining one does not subscribe you to the other.

If you join the research pool, we may contact you with invitations to interviews, usability testing, design and feature evaluations, feedback sessions and relevant early product experiments. Taking part in any study is always your choice.

We rely on your consent to send the newsletter and to contact you about research. You can withdraw your consent at any time; this does not affect anything done before you withdrew it.

We have not intentionally installed any analytics or advertising tools on this website. Our fonts are hosted on the website itself.

The sign-up forms on the homepage and the research page are provided by MailerLite and embedded in this website. When one of these pages loads, a MailerLite script is fetched from MailerLite's servers to run the form, so MailerLite receives technical connection information such as your IP address and browser details. What you type into a form is sent directly to MailerLite when you submit it.
